We had a
wonderful Christmas visiting friends and family.
We got most of the farmhouse
stucco and sealed, just one laundry room to go. It is so
warm now. Our Kitchen Queen wood cook stove keeps our
house very warm and cooking and baking is a dream.

| 2006 was a very fun summer,
as we decided to mow our 12 acres of pastures with riding
mowers! What fun we had, and our pastures looked
beautiful. The grass clippings put right back into the
soil greatly improved our pastures. We have 2 mowers, and
it really does not take that long to mow, in 5th gear with the
blades up high. The trick is to do it very often!
The horses loved the grasses, and we kept every weed cut off, to
give the grasses all summer to grow and thicken. We can't
wait till spring now! |
